Are you and your business ready for General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)?
The GDPR is to protect all EU citizens from privacy and data breaches in an increasingly data-driven world.
The GDPR will come into effect on 25th May 2018, changing the European privacy landscape and empowering data protection authorities to impose fines of up to 4% of annual turnover for organisations who fail to comply. It is worth mentioning that the government has confirmed that the UK’s decision to leave the EU will not affect the commencement of GDPR.
There are up to 80 new requirements in GDPR; presenting those responsible for data protection with the biggest changes to data protection laws since 1998.
If your company holds data on customers, suppliers or even employees be it on a local server, in the cloud or otherwise then this is something you should be considering now.
TLT LLP & Frazer John Recruitment invite you to attend a seminar on the forthcoming GDPR.
The seminar will give you an insight into the key changes that the law will bring and how organisations should be preparing in order to ensure compliance before the May 2018 deadline.
Date: 17th October
Location: TLT LLP, 3 Hardman Square, Manchester, M3 3EB
