With such a prolific amount of sensitive data and strict regulations, it’s not surprising that the financial sector has been slow to adopt using the cloud in a large-scale way.
The main objections from the firms that haven’t rushed to progress their IT strategies tend to be topics linked to security. These are entirely valid points which, with the correct due diligence and if executed correctly, could be overcome to change to a cloud-based system and also to change to a new mindset.
