FJR Finance is representing a global, City-based Asset Manager to hire a permanent Mifid2 & EMIR Regulatory Transaction Reporting Analyst, reporting to join their Middle Office/ Trade Support team. The position will be “working-from-home” until further notice and our client is requiring someone with ideally a minimum of between x 2- x 3-years of relevant Mifid2 & EMIR Regulatory Reporting/ Transaction Reporting experience gained ideally Investment Management/ Asset Management, or Investment Banking background.

The company is a very successful global company and the department is a very busy area and a critical support function to their Front Office. 

Working as part of their London Operations group, the chosen candidate must have a sound working knowledge of Instrument Mifid2 & EMIR Regulatory Reporting/ Transaction Reporting, ideally having strong working knowledge of a wide range of instruments including Equities, Fixed Income, or Funds. In addition, the role offers the opportunity to gaining in further Asset Management Middle Office/ Trade Support experience across a wide remit of other asset-classes including FX/ MM, CFD’s, OTC Derivatives (Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Derivatives), Futures & Options, and Loans.

The role will be working within Trade Support/ Middle Office teams and supporting the front office Fund Managers for all Mifid2 & EMIR Regulatory Transaction Reporting related requests. In addition the role will also involve working with the team, senior Operations Managers to be involved with related projects. Our client is looking for someone who can challenge existing processes and someone who has the genuine energy, passion and enthusiasm for (Asset Management) Operations and continual learning.

Our client is looking for a Mifid2 & EMIR Regulatory Transaction Reporting Analyst, ideally from either an Investment Management, Asset Management, or Hedge Fund background, as well as even Investment Banking.

The Trade Support area is made up of three teams - Regulatory Transaction Reporting being one. The team are responsible for fulfilling our trade and transaction reporting responsibilities currently under MIFID II, EMIR, FINFRAG, MAS and SFTR.

YOUR ROLE

Fully understand the Regulatory Transaction Reporting regimes/requirements and ensure the company is compliant with these.
Accurately complete daily tasks to control scope, data quality and timeliness of reporting utilising Unavista, Tradecho and IHS Markit to fulfil our regulatory trade and transaction reporting.
Ensure precise and timely reporting to ARMs, TRs and APAs, using STP and exception management.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of our reporting responsibilities through EMIR TR Reconciliations and FCA reconciliations.
Act as central point of contact for Transaction Reporting queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Manage onboarding tasks for new Funds, IDMs/EDMs.

Use KPIs to identify issues and monitor the accuracy and timing of our reporting.

YOUR PROFILE

One to three years’ experience in a Regulatory Transaction Reporting team within an asset manager.
› Knowledge of MIFID and EMIR regulations.
› Competent user of Microsoft Excel.
Experience using the following applications would be useful: Unavista, Trade Echo, Charles River, Simcorp Dimension, GTSS, IHS Markit.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail with a can-do approach and questioning mindset.

You will have a genuine interest in regulation and the ability to learn quickly. You will thrive in a busy environment, have strong time management skills and show flexibility when reacting to changing priorities. You should be confident to present ideas and raise any identified issues to the team.

Salary

£40 k pa - £60 k pa, dependent upon experience.
