Junior Wealth Management Investment Operations/ Trade Support – Boutique Family Office/ Wealth Manager (Equity in the business)
FJR Finance is representing a boutique Mayfair based Family Office/ Wealth Manager to hire a permanent Junior Wealth Management Investment Operations/ Trade Support to join their Investment Management Operations team.
The company have been in business for over 4- years and have over and exceeded all business targets and AUM growth. Their offices are very smart, but at the same time, there is a really relaxed, adult and professional vibe in the office.
The role will initially be working-from-home until otherwise guided by the UK government and corporate policy, with full on-the-job training provided via Teams, or Zoom etc. It would suit someone who also has a genuine interest in the Asset Management/ Wealth Management industry.
Our client is looking for someone with ideally a minimum of 6-month’s working experience within either as Operations Analyst and our client is happy to look any other Operations experience such as Trade Support, Settlements, AML/ KYC Client Onboarding, Reconciliations, Static Data, Performance Analyst, Client Reporting, or Data Business Analyst roles.
This excellent opportunity offers a wide exposure to a full range of Investment products and different fund strategies, such as Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, Private Equity and FX rates.
The role is for an Operations Junior Analyst - a new but critical support role within the firm. The individual being sought will be detail orientated, able to administer many Operational processes and suggest and implement efficiency improvements where possible.
The successful candidate will provide support to the Operations team and at the same time will gain exposure to the whole of Operations. Experience of the wealth management industry is preferable and should include all types of clients - individuals, families, companies, trusts and equivalent. Asset experience should include equities, funds, bonds and ideally private equity and derivatives and can be within settlements, dividends/corporate actions, asset transfers, reconciliations, client reporting, pricing or client support.
Any exposure to working with custodians would be looked upon favourably but more than anything the ideal candidate needs to show hunger, drive and a great attitude to help the team and learn Operations. The firm has developed key policies and procedures across the business. The successful individual is expected in the first instance to be able to follow a process and understand the importance of this. They will also be responsible for following and developing the key policies, procedures and controls for the firm. It is paramount that the individual contributes and ensures that we do not place the firm at risk of the regulator. In addition to the objectives of the firm to meet its regulatory obligations, we are setting an expectation that all client interactions should be wherever possible, seamless, professional and above all a positive client experience.
We encourage the individual to always consider the impact of a transaction on a client and to raise ideas that may improve the client experience. The individual will work closely with the Head of Governance, Client Advisors, Operations and the Client Service Team amongst other key stakeholders within the business. There will be a lot of interaction with key custodians on a daily basis.
£30 k pa - £40 k pa, plus bonus, pension and Equity related bonus, dependent upon experience.
